<div class="headline marginbottom40 margintop40 center"><h4><i class="icon-file-alt"></i> Curriculum</h4></div> <p style="text-align: justify;">The Holy Mission Curriculum aims at the overall development of a child. It is an institution that transpires an education system which will inculcate amongst children wisdom, values, vigour and conviction along with the joy of learning. While encouraging positive individual characteristics, it promotes student responsibility, co-operation, creativity and respect for individuality. The curriculum provides the essential academic, social and physical skills that the child needs to face challenges in the modern world. The medium of instruction is English and students apart from learning Hindi & Sanskrit are given an opportunity to learn foreign languages. DPS students not only posses academic standards, but high behavioural standard as well. It is the holistic approach to education that makes our school stand out as pioneers in making learning an enriching experience.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">The school is divided into three sections – Primary, Junior and Senior, with the following subjects</p> <div class="headline-page"><h3>Pre-Primary Curriculum</h3></div> <p style="text-align: justify;">Identification of Shapes, Colours, Rhymes, Drawing shapes, Colouring, Basic numerals, Alphabet, Words, Development of motor skills through Games.</p> <div class="headline-page"><h3>Classes I - III</h3></div> <p style="text-align: justify;">English, Hindi, Mathematics,EVS, Value education, General Knowledge and computers.</p> <div class="headline-page"><h3>Classes IV - V</h3></div> <p style="text-align: justify;">English, Hindi, Mathematics, EVS, GeneralKnowledge, Value education, III language (class IV) and Computers.</p> <div class="headline-page"><h3>Classes VI - X</h3></div> <p style="text-align: justify;">English, Hindi, Mathematics, Integrated Science, History, Civics, Geography and one of the third languages, General Knowledge and Computers.</p> <div class="headline marginbottom40 margintop40 center"><h4><i class="icon-file-alt"></i> Examination</h4></div> <p style="text-align: justify;">Examinations and unit test are compulsory for all students. Weekly Class tests are conducted so as to evaluate the student’s performance and keep a check on his knowledge. For all examinations we follow R B S E Curriculum and Questions. Students who are absent from examination for any reason will not be re-examined .If a pupil is not able to appear for whole examination for valid reasons his/her case will be considered on the strength of the year's record. In case a student is found using unfair means in an examination, he/she will be awarded zero for that paper and will be debarred from appearing for the rest of the examinations. Repetition of the same offence will result in dismissal.</p>
